The JCPS Academies of Louisville Guiding Team, which includes leaders from KentuckianaWorks, was awarded the Silver Fleur-de-Lis award by Greater Louisville Inc. at its annual meeting on January 23rd. The award is given to organizations committed to making Louisville a better place to live and work.
The Academies of Louisville is a major reform of career and technical education in the Jefferson County Public Schools which is now being rolled out in 15 high schools. The KentuckianaWorks Board of Directors and staff are playing a key role in its development and implementation across the city.
