Career Pathways

About the Career Pathways charts

By providing job seekers and students and their parents with current, local data about careers and the status of the Greater Louisville regional labor market, residents in the region can become more aware of career possibilities in the growing industry sectors and the education levels/job skills needed to attain those careers. These charts also show how many jobs were available in the region in the last quarter and provide a snapshot of the career ladder in each pathway for job advancement.

Each Career Pathways chart looks at the high-demand jobs within a specific industry cluster and provides education, wages and job availability at each stage of the Career Pathway. The Advanced Manufacturing, Consumer & Business Services, Food & Beverage, Health Enterprises and Lifelong Wellness & Aging, Information Technology, Construction, and Logistics & Supply Chain Management Career Pathways have been identified as the key Louisville region industry clusters by Louisville Forward and Mayor Greg Fischer.

Click on any of these industry clusters to explore the variety of jobs in that industry and the skill sets most needed for those jobs.
